Hit the Pads

Well, to sum up the Writtenhouse voyage to Atlanta, I would classify it as strange. Not strange good or strange bad, just strange. Some of the high/lowlights:

-Having to perform in a church parking lot next to a dumpster, in the middle of a cookout/ skate jam. We always give 100% but i'd rather not drive 12 hours to a venue only to have drunken ATLiens kick flip through our set.....sigh

-On our way home , Dame,our quick thinking driver/manager talked a state trooper out of giving us a speeding ticket by convincing him we were a R&B/Christian rap group. We waxed poetic about spreading a message of peace from a youth perspective and the officer seemed genuinely impressed and lets go with a warning. Thank God...literally.

-We also had a very dope shoot with a local photographer K.Escamilla. She is a sweetheart and almost made me look photogenic. Big shoutout to her and her boyfriend Kato, a dope producer/mc.

Hmm, I seemed to have used a lot of slashes in this post, I guess since our team is at the startup stage we all have to wear more than one hat for the time being. I myself, am the resident producer/videographer/blogger. Its cool , I like hats.

Since we have established my subpar writing skills, maybe its better to just use some video entries to get the message across. Sorry my energy is low, it was pretty late.

First Wave

Well, everybody else in the known free world has a blog, I guess its time I step into the 21st century. I'm usually pretty progressive when it come to all things tech but something about blogging always bothered me. Self promotion has never been my strong suite, but I have come to a point in my life and career where I realize you cant rely on others to spread your message for you.
Okay...so...hmmm. Well, my name is Chris Conway, I make beats and hopefully soon I'll be making movies. I hope that doesn't make me sound like a reality show reject... I'm not much of a writer so please ignore any none spelling errors, this is a stream of conciusness thing, real time. Anyway, I'm trying my best to make this the year I leave the monotonous "Ground Hog Day" life im living now and make a name for myself. Hopefully these next few months will conclude with a happy ending and a fresh start to a new life. Peace.
